How to Help Nikki Addimando

Although Nikki’s appeal established her as a survivor of horrific abuse and resulted in a reduced sentence, New York’s Governor Hochul has never responded to her clemency application. Nikki remains imprisoned until 2024.

Here are a few simple ways to help Nikki today:

1. Donate to our Walk Nikki Home fundraiser

After nearly 7 years away from her kids, Nikki is coming HOME in 2024. We’re raising money for the tangible things she’ll need, including housing, a car, and therapeutic support and healing services. Your generosity will provide direct support to Nikki and her children during this transition.

2. Pre-Order “dear sister”

Nikki’s sister, Michelle, has written a beautiful memoir about their shared experience of injustice, family separation, and resilience. It is the only first-hand account to cover Nikki and Michelle’s stories, and the proceeds go directly to supporting their children. Dear Sister will be out in January 2024, and is available to pre-order wherever you buy your books! Learn more at Hachette Book Group.
